Team up in KOF '97

After the KOF '96 tournament, her brother, Jean wanted for a sightseeing and planned to make it on the next Summer Holidays. But the business of King's bar is flourishing since she became well known in participated in KOF '96 tournament and she was busy. She wanted to spent more time with Jean, but then, the host of the previous tournament, Chizuru, invited her and Mai to Japan to participate with her in the up coming tournament. Chizuru arranged it so that Jean would go with them, and Mai supported her saying that besides Jean can travel all over the world to attend the KOF tournaments, he also can see how King performed on the battle stage. Left with nothing to worry about, King accepted.

Ending of Female Fighters Team in KOF '97

Team members: Chizuru Kagura, King, Mai Shiranui

Chizuru, King, Mai and Jan are at an amusement park. While the rest have fun, Chizuru is looking at a lake, thinking of her elder sister and the Orochi. Jan comes up to her and says that he feels safe and secure around here, and then Mai and King pop up saying "Hey, didn't you just say that to us?" and Jan gets really nervous. As they plan on riding the ferry's wheel or something, Chizuru starts talking to her sister again in spirit or something. Overall, somewhat lame ending, but the mistranslation team strikes again - Jan calls Mai "Mail"!!
